The Handmaid’s Tale season 6 plot
While there aren’t any official plot details for The Handmaid’s Tale season 6 just yet, the cliffhanger at the end of season 5 left us with some burning questions. In season 5, we witnessed Canada becoming more like Gilead, with authorities tightening their grip on citizens.
In the finale, June and Luke realized they needed to escape the country urgently. Unfortunately, things took a tragic turn when Luke defended June from a violent truck driver, leading to the driver’s fatal injuries and Luke’s arrest by Canadian authorities. June had to flee with her daughter Nichole.
As she embarked on her journey out of the country, she discovered that Serena and her baby were also on the same train. Given their ongoing conflicts throughout the season, this could make for an intriguing dynamic when the show returns.
